naanu devasthannke hogidde sanje. hatr aidda udupi resturant muchithu so taco bell ge hogi ondu 7 layer burito thogondu bandwe :P madyana tofu pulav thinde. thinodarlle enu special irilla. But salwar ornaments maek up ella amdkondu hogidde :P

nope udupi resturant was closed :( hence ha dto go to taco bell. Pulav was made by me :)

:-P yup BTW toronto is one such place wher u get to eta variety of foods japniese chinese vitenamese all "ese" and then all "an" like indian korean etc. Are u planning to visit USA some time soon?

"kotto" in my place is called kotte kadubu, we do it with plankton leaves too. moodod not sure as i was not able to view photos in the office shall gp home n check.
we also do from arisina yele.It has an unique aroma and they are generally sweet. "kotto" can be sweet or bland or spicy. all varities are prepared by my mom :)

Kotto is done using jackfruit tree leaves and not plaintain leaves. Four leaves are "stapled" together at the base using a coconut tree leaf stem, and folded up and stapled on the sides.

Now we don't make it at home. Suchitra simply buys it from Hotel Ayodhya. This time they had mudo and so no kotto;-) Earlier the mudo cylinders used to be bought empty and filled and steamed at home.
